About Us
Both of Caboray Ranch's trainers, Brie Yhlen and Kirsten
Fiscus have had a long love of horses.
The pair have worked together for many years and have been lucky enough to be
successful at what their passi
ons
are: Horses and Children. Both Brie and Kirsten have been working with horses
for the better part of their liv
es.
For both, becoming trainers and teaching horseback riding was a very natural
progression. Currently both are involved with Arabians and Half Arabians.
Brie has been active with the breed for most of her life, while Kirsten has had
her background in Quarter horses, Thoroughbreds, and Warmbloods. Her
extensive knowledge lends itself to the very competitive world of the Sporthorse.
Brie has horses and students involved in all types of breed disciplines
from Hunter to Country English pleasure. Their students and their horses
successes are the main focus of Caboray Ranch. Teaching the riders how
to ride and the mechanics of riding is the first step. Once that is
achieved, the riders are taught how to feel, meaning they learn how to work with
and learn the concepts of training their own horses. Our goal is to have
riders who can not only sit on a horse, but who can think about what is going on
below them.
